LAKESIDE PRESBYTERIAN PRESCHOOL INFORMATION 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR
Lakeside Preschool is very excited to be celebrating our 58th year serving our community. The 2026-27 school year is right around the corner, and we are gearing up for our in person open house. At this time, you can meet your child's teacher, visit the classroom and receive information regarding your child's individual class.
NEW FAMILY INFORMATION NIGHT
This year we are going to have a new family information night prior to the open house to give new families, first time preschool parents, and returning families an opportunity to ask questions regarding Procare, school policies and any other concerns or questions you might have. The date is Tuesday, August 18 at 6:30. The link for the sign up is below so that we know how many families plan to attend. Unfortunately, we will be unable to provide childcare at this meeting.

OPEN HOUSE- 6:00-7:35
Monday - August 31- all 2 and 3 year old MWF classes
Tuesday - September 1 - All T/Th 2 and 3 year old classes
Wednesday - September 2- All Pre K MWF (4 year old) Classes
Thursday - September 3 - All T/Th Pre K (4 year old) classes and Mon.-Fri. Pre-K 9-1 classes
Your individual teacher will contact you in August to set up a time for your open house. They will be in 20 minute intervals for small groups so that you have a chance to ask questions and talk to the teacher.
FIRST MONTH'S TUITION DUE
To hold your child's spot at Lakeside, your first tuition payment must be received by August 1. This is your September tuition so your next payment will not be due until October. You will be receiving an invoice through Procare for the September tuition and each month thereafter so that you know what your balance is on your account. On your first invoice we will include the supply fee.
You have two payment options: mailing or drop off a check made payable to Lakeside Preschool, 2690 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, Kentucky 41017 or using Procare and paying by credit card or automatic payment. If you are paying by credit card there is an additional fee of $5.00 to cover the convenience fee of paying online.
We will be at the school on Thursday July 30 and Friday July 31 from 9:00-11:00 if you would like to drop off your check and paperwork at that time. The drop off box will also be inside the preschool door each day from Monday July 27 to Friday July 31 from 8:30-10:30.
PROCARE
As in the past the school uses Procare as a means of communication both from the school and your child's teacher. All invoices, event information, volunteer sign up information, school newsletter and updates will be only through Procare.
We will be offering before and after school care each day again as we have in the past. We open at 8:00 and your child can stay until 1:00. If they stay for after school, they should pack a lunch. Just a reminder we are a peanut free facility. The cost is still $5.00 for before school care and $5.00 for after school care. These charges will be added to your monthly invoice.
In the event your plans have changed, and your child will not be attending Lakeside this fall or if you have any questions regarding payments, please let me know as soon as possible by emailing the preschool at [email protected].
